E-learning Curriculum Located in Carrollton, Texas, RealPage is a leader and pio- neer in multi-family property management software develop- ing comprehensive industry leading property management systems for performance con- scious owners and managers. Today, more than 20,000 apartment communities across the U.S. use RealPage products and services. THE CHALLENGE RealPage had a large instruc- tor-led classroom-based training program. A few e- learning courses were built in Flash, and they were offered online primarily as pre- or post-classroom training or as training for those who were unable to travel to classroom sites. RealPage recognized that the number of employ- ees and client personnel attending instructor-led classes was decreasing due to economic cost constraints. This resulted in a significant increase in the need for com- prehensive online curricu- lums. RealPage sought to deploy a learning manage- ment solution to provide its customers with tools to man- age their own student popu- lations. More importantly, they needed a comprehensive e-learning development tool that would allow them to quickly create a large number of lessons and curriculums that target each customer's essential processes and their employees' job roles.
